Substitute Teacher

Sunrise Waldorf School is currently accepting applications for Substitute Teachers starting for the 23/24 school year.  Established in 1980, the beautiful seven-acre Sunrise campus is in the Cowichan Valley, near Duncan BC.  Sunrise is a full AWSNA member school and a Group One independent school under the BC Ministry of Education with a mission to educate and inspire students to reach their full potential through a rich and artistic Waldorf curriculum.    

 

The ideal candidate will have a B.Ed, BC Teaching Certificate, Waldorf teacher training and/or have teaching experience in a Waldorf school. Sunrise seeks caring and dynamic educators with positive classroom and behaviour management practices and strong interpersonal and communication skills.  The successful candidate must have the ability to support students with a range of abilities and ages.
