The ideal candidate will have completed Waldorf training and have teaching experience in a Waldorf school, as well as a history of strong classroom management and the ability to maintain professional relationships with parents, faculty and staff. We will also support trained teachers without Waldorf experience to obtain their Waldorf teacher training during school breaks. Our faculty is looking for a colleague who will enthusiastically join their collaborative work with our Principal.
A spiritual dimension in Waldorf education is present in the culture and environment of the school, although no particular religious or spiritual beliefs are prescribed. Parents and teachers of various religious and spiritual perspectives and ethical philosophies are involved in Waldorf education. They do so knowing that Waldorf schools are based on a spiritual view of the human being and of the world.
