About the event
Join us for a warm and inspiring evening exploring the art of storytelling in the Waldorf tradition. Rooted in the educational insights of Rudolf Steiner, this experiential workshop invites parents to rediscover the power of the spoken word as a way to nourish imagination, deepen connection, and support children’s emotional development.
Facilitated by Anthroposophical Branch member Kate Reynolds, this two-hour workshop will guide parents through both the why and the how of storytelling. Together, we will experience a story told aloud, reflect on its impact, and explore practical, accessible ways to bring storytelling into your home life—whether at bedtime, during daily rhythms, or in moments of challenge and transition.
Parents will have the opportunity to:
Experience live oral storytelling
Learn simple techniques for telling stories without memorization
Explore age-appropriate story choices
