Sunrise Waldorf School is currently accepting applications for a part time Eurythmy instructor.  Established in 1980, the beautiful seven-acre Sunrise campus is in the Cowichan Valley, near Duncan BC.  Sunrise is a full AWSNA member school and a Group One independent school under the BC Ministry of Education with a mission to educate and inspire students to reach their full potential through a rich and artistic Waldorf curriculum.    

 

The ideal candidate will have formal training in Eurythmy and experience teaching eurythmy in a Waldorf school. Sunrise seeks a caring and dynamic instructor with positive classroom and behaviour management practices and strong interpersonal and communication skills.  The successful candidate must have the ability to support students with a range of abilities and ages. In addition to eurythmy instruction, other duties may include:

 

• staff meetings and committee work

• parent meetings and communications

• recess supervision

• participation in festivals and recitals

• professional development
